Take That delivered an incredible performance under the Abu Dhabi night sky on Friday 25 October 2024, proving once again why they remain one of the most enduring UK bands of any decade.
The October heat didn’t deter the 6,000-strong crowd in Etihad Park from revelling in the nostalgia of classic songs such as ‘Pray’, ‘Relight My Fire’, and ‘Back for Good’, alongside newer tunes (‘Windows’, ‘This Life’) that are fast becoming fan favourites.
Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Gary Barlow brought their usual cheeky charm and charisma to the stage, blitzing through multiple costume changes and dancing to every track of their 19-song set list.
In a memorable moment, the trio ventured down into the crowd, making their way along the front of the Golden Circle to meet their adoring fans. The night was hot and sweaty, but the energy never waned – from neither the band nor the audience.
This isn’t the first time MAC Global has brought the band to the UAE, with appearances in 2015, 2017 and even a Gary Barlow solo show in 2016.
This long-standing collaboration has fostered a genuine trust between MAC Global, the band and their management.
Take That at Etihad Park will undoubtedly go down as one of MAC Global’s and Abu Dhabi’s standout concerts of 2024.
