Dubai, UAE – 24 October 2024: MAC Global, the award-winning concert promotion and event production company based in Dubai and part of Sony Music Entertainment, proudly marked its tenth anniversary with an inspiring sold-out performance by Roxie Nafousi, the acclaimed “Manifesting Queen”.
The two-night run of MANIFEST: The Live Show at the Zabeel Theatre, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel, coincided with MAC Global’s milestone celebration. The opening night on 15 October reached 95% capacity, followed by a sold-out performance on 16 October.
“This event represents a relatively new direction for us,” said Daniel Goldberg, COO of MAC Global. “While we’ve previously booked speakers such as Thierry Henry, Idris Elba, and John McEnroe on behalf of other organisers including Saudi Arabia’s Tanween Festival, this was the first time as the lead producer. It worked out well for us, for the talent, and the audience too”.
MAC Global has long been known for delivering world-class musical experiences, but as Rob McIntosh, MAC Global’s CEO, explained the company remains open to diversifying: “We’re proud to be part of the region’s vibrant entertainment landscape. Whether it’s motivational speakers, comedians, or major bands and orchestras, we’re committed to meeting audience demand”.
Earlier this year, MAC Global set a new benchmark in the UAE’s classical music scene when André Rieu’s concert at Etihad Arena became the biggest-selling classical event in the country’s history, drawing 12,000 attendees.
As the company celebrates its decade-long journey, the rest of 2024 promises more standout events:
  • Take That – 25 October 2024, Etihad Park, Abu Dhabi
  • Sophie Ellis-Bextor – 26 October 2024, Dubai Opera
  • Ministry of Sound Classical – 9 November 2024, Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai
  • Goldie – Project 174 – 16 November 2024, P7 Arena, Media One, Dubai
  • Lang Lang Plays Disney – 22 November 2024, Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi
Reflecting on the last decade, Goldberg shared: “Programming events like Sandance Festival at Atlantis and bringing Ed Sheeran to the region in 2015 remain personal highlights. We’ve grown immensely since then, and we look forward to the next ten years of delivering unforgettable experiences”.
